RP People

Username:
Name: Desmond Abrams
Affliction: Immortality- this is caused by his body constantly "overwriting" any sort of damage back to a repaired state. This does not affect any damage/age caused before this began to occur, nor does it seem to affect memory.
Gender: Male
Age: 182 (ceased aging at 39)
Appearance: His body is large and well-toned from working in construction. He has dark brown, cropped hair that runs down into stubble. His eyes have turned orange at some point (he never really noticed). His skin is tanned and thick, with leathery hands and feet, hardened by work. He dresses himself in whatever clothes he can get a hold of, usually prepared to do some work.
Personality: Desmond is fairly cautious and blunt, and comes off as a rather imposing man. However, despite his occasional raids of travelling stable zone caravans, he has not shown heavy aggression, taking only what he needs and allowing the caravan to leave safely. Much like his body, his mind has become hardened over time. He has put his long life to use by constantly working and learning. He is a fairly friendly man, but does not exactly display it.
History: Desmond used to have a wife and children, who have since died. In his old life, he was a construction worker and had experience in gunsmithing. Since then, he has put those skills and others to work, building shelters and stocking up on weaponry for defense (not that he really needs it). He has spent most of his life in western America.
Advantages: Construction, gunsmithing, car repair, sewing, cooking. Has spent much of his time learning new skills. He does not need to eat or drink.
Weaknesses: He isn't very good at interacting with other people. His immortality makes this even more difficult, since he will always outlive loved ones. He is still capable of feeling pain (although he's quite used to it after almost 200 years). [[Capable of dying through certain complex methods.]]
Other facts: He is fond of music.

Username:
Name: Olivia Page
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Appearance: Olivia is thin, short, and fairly weak, leaving her prone to injury and illness if she's not careful. She has long, curly, light brown hair which she usually wears up. Her eyes are large and brown, with a sleepy sort of look. She tends to dress so that most of her body is covered, and is fond of simple, pretty clothing.
Personality: Olivia is quiet and subdued, outwardly. However, she longs to break free of her sterile, yet panicked environment in the stable zones. She would rather accept the real world for all of its problems than live in a safe little cage. She would like to be bolder about things, but her parents have trained her to be obedient.
History: She was born in a stable zone to weary parents wrought with paranoia. She spent her whole life smothered in their guidance and restrained from free will. Her parents left before her to relocate to a new stable zone. Now that she has gathered her money together, she intends to leave as well, but not to another stable zone.
Advantages: Sewing, cooking, and cleaning as trained by her mother. Determined to escape the stable zones.
Weaknesses: Does not stand up for herself, tends to be afraid of change. Not very strong.
Other facts: She is a lesbian.

Username:
Name: Sage Bell
Affliction: Can ignore logic in favor of her own preferences (Example: can walk on the ceiling). Sometimes doesn't work. Simpler things are easier than others (Example: cannot ignore death). Not entirely under her control. Works best from noon to 6 PM.
Gender: Female
Age: 19
Appearance: Sage is tall and lean with pale skin. Her appearance is also affected by the unstable zone. Her hair is black and messy, going in all directions. However, she has purple-colored fringe in front. Her eyes are dark, also of a purple color. She has pointed ears and fangs, and a fluffy tail. She attributes this and her black hair to a strange incident in which a dog merged with her body following a world break. She likes to loot old malls for ridiculous goth clothing.
Personality: Sage is fairly simple-minded and easily amused. She completely accepts the unstable world, and at times really enjoys it. She is friendly and annoying like a dog (a trait likely developed after the incident) and is kind of stupid. Sage has a tendency to force herself upon people, regardless of their opinion. She runs into problems headfirst. She has a tendency to follow people around for no reason.
History: Sage has lived her entire life in unstable zones. She became merged with a dog when she was twelve, and has shown more mental symptoms of it than physical.
Advantages: Excitable and friendly, and her affliction provides some advantages. She has a heightened sense of smell, hearing, and sight.
Weaknesses: She is dumb, fairly gullible, and has deuteranopia (red-green colorblindness) like a dog. [[Example: http://yfrog.com/5ndeuteranopesimulationp ]]
Other facts: She is bisexual and she has a tendency to bark at things.

DON'T MAKE FUN OF ME AHHHH

Jack dropped 21, Jill 22

Some ideas that I've been having for comics.

Street Devil
-Lilith finds Azazel, who is starving, dehydrated, and injured, when she's out on the streets with Adam. They bring him to the parahuman shelter and this is how he is introduced to the group. Azazel cannot remember anything about himself or his life, but shows no signs of head trauma. Azazel is exhibiting a severe case of repressed memory, which is why he later remembers his father when he sees him.
-Lilith may have eidetic memory. It's just a random quirk, perhaps related to her powers.
-Erebos might be half-demon, and if so, I'm giving him glasses (sometimes). I'm not sure if I've mentioned this on here before.
-I'm also not sure if I mentioned the parahuman shelter. If not, that's where the main cast will actually be living in. They just kinda hang out in an alley instead of living there. It makes more sense. I think. They'll also have some walkie-talkies. There are some pretty inexpensive ones with a really wide range nowadays.

Bluff
-Art: Maddox with blackjack (Ace and Jack of Spades) standing up and leaning on the table. Possible elements: soft shading, fisheye effect, slightly above view. Holographic casino panels, Raza being all childishly excited because she's silly.
-Now, here is something I haven't actually been terribly sure of myself. What is up with Raza's hair? The way I draw it is like exaggerated, round dreadlocks looking rather a lot like... tentacles or something. But I've been thinking, dreadlocks aren't terribly pretty. So I've been thinking maybe something like they're just curls or braids or something. If I were thinking of being really odd they'd be tentacles, but I want her to seem human.

Noah's story
I'm not actually sure what I've covered in regards to this, so I'm going to go over as much as I have actually thought of altogether... which isn't quite that much yet.
K (Kona) moves to Rockview. Despite her parents being fairly wealthy, they live in a regular home. K's mother is Hawaiian and works in fashion, aiming to take fashion in a more eco-friendly direction. Her father manages the company. I'm thinking K may have at least one or two sisters, no brothers. K's neighbor is Tabbi and her brother Tadhg (who is actually her cousin in Anarchy 2090). Tabbi takes it upon herself to become friends with K, showing her around the city/town/whatever it is. K possibly encounters Noah by watching her skateboard or play guitar (probably on a day when K is out by herself at a cafe or something). K, Tabbi, and Tadhg walk to school together in the mornings, since they live close to the school. K finds out that Noah is in some of her classes, and is actually a girl.
From this point on, some out of order thoughts.
-Noah is fairly low on money. Her brother works, perhaps as a computer technician or something of the sort, and is their main source of income. She works hard in school (though I may not have her be particularly good at actually learning, despite how hard she works), on skateboarding, and on music, playing occasionally in local bands. Noah is friends with Roark (Azazel), they're neighbors and they both skateboard. She may or may not have a dog. But Azazel has one, so she'd probably be rather friendly with his dog. Her brother (possibly named Zack) is a nerd.
-K might be under the impression that Noah likes Azazel or some sort of thing besides just friendship is going on. Later on, Azazel will, essentially, lol at her for this.
-K is a writer. Particularly in the fiction and poetry line. She has a cat named Shakespeare.
-Social conflict: Several times I've gone over the thought of Noah being mocked in high school. Thinking logically, this is an inevitability of high school, especially in Noah's case. However, my issue is that I don't want it to seem like I'm making Noah look better because of the pity factor, or making it seem like these girls can be nothing more than just bitches. Plus there's the issue of getting my personal beliefs involved in the matter. The point is, I don't want it to seem biased and Mary Sue-ish, and I am also having difficulty in thinking of a way to do this while maintaining some level of believability and realism.

And that's about all I can pull out of my brain right now. More later, maybe.
